Evénement unique et magique pour le réveillon du Nouvel An 2014 à Gênes, en Ligurie, avec une représentation juste avant les douze coups de minuit de « Il était une fois" par la Compagnie Ondadurto, présenté dans le cadre de la 13 ème édition du festival international Circumnavigando, un spectacle original présenté devant des milliers de personnes pour accueillir la nouvelle année en plein cœur de la ville, sur la Piazza de Ferrari.
Un grenier poussiéreux, une maison abandonnée, tout semble y être de guingois, empoussièré… Le temps passe, les douze coups de minuit vont sonner, et tout commence ! Après un show d’ouverture très variétés , apparaît un personnage intemporel , qui, comme un fil rouge, entraîne les spectateurs dans le conte : La méchante Reine arrive, et tout un chacun passe à son service, manipulé selon ses caprices : « Miroir, mon beau miroir, qui est la plus belle de tout le royaume ? "
« C’era una volta »- Il était une fois- est bien plus qu’un spectacle de princesses et de héros, la Compagnie romaine Ondadurto, inspirée par Lewis Carroll, les frères Grimm, Johann Karl August Musäus et Hans Christian Andersen y réécrit avec des accents felliniens nombre d’ histoires, légendes et contes de fées de la grande tradition dans une interprétation virevoltante, époustouflante, explosive, tantôt noire, tantôt acide, toujours colorée.
